A Halloween Treat

It’s a rainy and blustery Halloween in our part of the world. This means our Halloween plans have been put on hold and I may actually get another post up this evening while my husband and son watch Coco and gorge themselves on candy.

In the meantime, however, I wanted to share this with you as a little Halloween treat. I had the opportunity to catch up on some podcasts yesterday and came across this gem.

It’s a fantastic episode of Maine Calling that explores some interesting assumptions that we tend to make about sustainability. It also focuses on the importance of reducing, reusing, and calling for change from the manufacturers that can make the biggest difference.

Be sure to listen to the first caller, the one from Eco Maine. Bright guy. Very eloquent. It must be genetic. *

*For the 5 readers I have that are not related to me: apologies for the inside joke. Turns out my cousin called in to this particular episode.
